Do I need a permit to install a backyard studio shed?

Permit requirements vary by location and size (often needed for structures over 120 or 200 sq ft). We provide free consultations to get you started understanding local regulations. Not sure what's needed in your area? Get in touch with us, and we're happy to talk through, and assist with exactly what it'll take to get your structure in place.

Are your studios insulated for year-round use?

Yes, fully insulated walls, floors, and roofs keep your studio comfortable in all seasons. Add HVAC systems for precise climate control, ideal for Northern winters or summer heat.

Can I add electrical to my studio?

Yes, we offer full electrical packages with lighting, outlets, etc. Choose one of our standard packages, or design your own.

What foundation do I need for my studio?

A level gravel or concrete pad is ideal for stability. We recommend 6+ inches of crushed stone, a concrete pad (with footers in some cases), or concrete piers; our consultation includes site prep guidance to ensure a solid, long-lasting base.

What warranty do you offer?

10-year limited structure warranty covers defects in materials/workmanship under normal use. Excludes extreme weather (hurricanes, tornados, etc.) or misuse—view full policy for details; we're here to help with any issues.

Do you ship outside the Northeast US?

Free shipping covers the Northeast, but we can ship anywhere in the lower 48. For other locations, contact us for affordable options.
